Sports-related concussions are a major concern in the athletic world, especially in contact sports such as rugby, football, and hockey. Each year, thousands of athletes suffer from these mild traumatic brain injuries, which are often overlooked or misdiagnosed. The consequences can be severe, impacting not only short-term health but also the long-term quality of life of athletes if the concussion is not detected and treated in time.
Despite growing awareness, diagnosing a concussion quickly on the field remains challenging, often delaying proper care and putting athletes' health at risk. Rapid and accurate detection is therefore essential to prevent serious complications and ensure player safety.

VigiBrain project

Stay safe, stay in the game
VigiBrain is an innovative solution dedicated to the early detection and management of sport-related concussions. Built on over 15 years of expertise in pupillometry, our technology accurately and rapidly measures pupillary responses to assess an athlete's neurological status.
With VigiBrain, our goal is to provide a unique and personalized monitoring system for each player throughout the sports season. Using artificial intelligence, we establish an individualized pupillary response baseline for every athlete. This allows for the rapid detection of significant variations in measurements following an impact. These objective data provide medical teams with reliable information, helping them make informed and tailored decisions for each situation.
Following a concussion, VigiBrain also enables continuous monitoring of the athlete's recovery through regular assessments, determining when their pupillary responses return to a state close to their baseline. This supports the decision-making process regarding the safe return to play.
